  • Why does POWERCHINA have an Ethics Channel?

    Because POWERCHINA wants to offer a safe and confidential communication channel to its employees, partners, suppliers, and communities where the company has business. In addition to current laws, we have a set of rules that are described in our Code of Ethics:

    • The Code of Ethics describes the company's core values and serves as a guide for the behavior that must be followed by the company's employees, suppliers, and business partners.

    Even so, some inappropriate attitudes and not consistent with our principles can happen, endangering not only the company, but also you and other colleagues.

    • That's why the Ethics Channel exists: to protect everyone!

    Through it, you can denounce, 100% anonymously, the irregularities that are not consistent with our values and laws, helping us to maintain a work environment that is always safe and healthy.

  • How does it work?

    The Channel is outsourced and managed by Contato Seguro, an independent and impartial company.

  • Will my identity be protected?

    Yes! All denouncements received are carried out by Contato Seguro, an entirely exempt organization with no kind of subordination to POWERCHINA.

    You don't need to identify yourself to make the denouncement: identification is optional.

    The anonymity and confidentiality of the information are guaranteed.

    In the case of telephone recordings, they are anonymized before the denouncement is sent to the compliance team. This means that your voice cannot be identified.

    You will be 100% protected against any retaliation.

    Denouncements sent to POWERCHINA never identify your phone number or your computer's IP number.

  • What kind of cases can I denounce through the Channel?

    You can and should denounce any attitude that is not consistent with the laws or with our Code of Ethics. Check out the examples:

    • Frauds

    • Waste of resources

    • Disclosure of confidential matters

    • Discrimination

    • Moral or sexual harassment

    • Abuse of power

    • Aggression

    • Among other things.

  • Do I need proof?

    No. Based on your denouncement, Contato Seguro will forward the information to the compliance team, which will initiate the investigation and will deal with the denouncement correctly. Action will be taken only after the irregularity has been found.

    • If you have any proof, the system allows you to attach any type of file (such as photos, videos, audios, etc.)

  • What are the benefits of the Channel?

    The Channel helps us to create and maintain the safest company free from irregularities, preventing and fighting attitudes that could harm us all.

  • How do I track my denouncement?

    When making a denouncement, a protocol will be generated. To track the progress, follow the steps below:

    3. Enter your protocol number
    4. Click the arrow to go for ward

    • The compliance team may request more information about the denouncement, through messages that can only be accessed through the protocol number.
