Furukawa Electric LatAm has hired the outside and independent company Contato Seguro (Safe Contact) as a partner for the implementation of this communication channel in order to send suggestions and notifications about unethical or inconsistent conduct in respect of our way of thinking and acting.
Contato Seguro operates in several Brazilian States and attends organizations from different market segments, contributing to the transparency and maintenance of its customers' ethical principles.
The Channel is a safe and anonymous method, used by employees of Contato Seguro's customers, to inform activities potentially harmful to their companies. In addition, the Channel permits employees to make suggestions for improvements of operational processes related to Compliance.
A specialized team will receive the calls or messages (notifications or suggestions) via this website, make an initial review and analysis and forward the messages to be investigated by the internal committee indicated by Furukawa. This committee will review, investigate and take action, when necessary.
No collaborator will be identified and everyone who accesses the Channel will receive a protocol number, with which they will be able to re-access the Channel and know the status of their report.
